The #LitterFreeLenoirNC contest starts Saturday, and the prize list is growing. Pick up your supplies this week and get ready to snap a selfie!

The contest runs April 14 through April 28, the same dates as the NC Litter Sweep.

Entering the contest is easy. Go pick up litter somewhere in Lenoir. Take a selfie of you or your group picking up litter. Post that picture to Facebook or Twitter during the contest with the location and the hashtag #LitterFreeLenoirNC.

At the end of Litter Sweep, we’ll enter the submissions into a drawing for several prizes. Prizes include a 1-Year Family Membership to the Lenoir Aquatic and Fitness Center, Roll-Out Trash Can, free shelter rentals at a city park, gift certificates from local businesses, and two Google Home Minis donated by Google!

If every resident and business participates and picks up litter in their front yard or in front of their store, we can keep Lenoir, NC litter-free!
