Over 20 Downtown Property Owners have participated in this initiative since its inception in March of 2016! Moving Lenoir to the 2nd Floor provides property owners with information from experienced architects and consultants familiar with projects involving historic buildings. Not only do Downtown residents bring vibrancy and foster a sense of place in our Downtown, but they contribute on average up to $9,000 annually back into the Downtown economy. Moving Lenoir to the 2nd Floor, with the goal of increasing housing opportunities Downtown, aims to provide Downtown Property Owners with valued information needed to make sound decisions about the potential uses of their buildings.
