We are hosting a digital scavenger hunt with hidden clues/challenges all throughout the Downtown Lenoir Business district. Game registration is limited to the first 500 participants.

Over $500 in cash and prizes can be yours:  1^st place = $275 cash, 2^nd place = $150 cash, 3^rd place = $75, sponsored by Smoking in the Foothills BBQ, along with gift certificates from our Downtown Lenoir merchants.

Game registration is currently open so register for the hunt today. The hunt will begin Friday, March 10^th at 8:30am and continue through Friday, March 17^th at 9:00pm. Play at your own pace and in your own time during the week from the 10^th-17^th.

HOW TO PLAY:

You and/or a team member will need a charged smartphone and a sense of adventure. To register for the hunt either scan the QR code or use the web link and follow the on-screen prompts. You can register as an individual or as a team (only one win per team). When registering as a team, all members must use the same spelling of the team name. Once you’ve registered, follow the on-screen links to the app store where you download the aa “Scavr”. Open the app and login using the same information you used when registering. That’s it. The Downtown Lenoir Leprechaun Chase scavenger hunt challenges will open to play on March 10^th at 8:30am.

HOW TO WIN:

Each challenge within the hunt offers a set number of points for completion. Challenges range from GPS check-ins, riddles to solve, photos to capture, and hidden QR codes to find. Start with any challenge you want, completing as many as you can during the event week. Points are accumulated by completing challenges, bonus points are awarded for creativity within the challenges in the event of a tie. All picture challenge points will be awarded at the close of the hunt (you get one try to get it correct, happy hunting). Points will be tallied and the winners announced via Facebook on Monday, March 20^th. Winners will be contacted to arrange prize pick-up.

Prizes are awarded to the whole team and not each individual player. Game registration is limited to the first 500 participants. Prizes must be claimed within 30 days of the winning announcement.
