The uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 has caused the 2020 Southern Sundown 4 Miler to convert to a slightly virtual (Almost Live!) event.

(Run anytime between August 8- August 29)

Heres how it works:
★ Go to SouthernSundown4Miler.itsyourrace.com to register ($25 / entry)
(Your e-mailed receipt can be redeemed at Liquid Roots Brewing Project for (1) free beer – 21 & over of course)
★ Run the official Southern Sundown 4 Miler course in downtown Lenoir, NC
(Run the course any day, any time from 8/8 – 8/29. The official course map is available on the Strava and Map My Run
apps, at SouthernSundown4Miler.itsyourrace.com and at the start/finish line and Liquid Roots Brewing Project.)
★ Record your time using a running app such as Strava, Map My Run, etc.
(Your time on the course must be verified on a running app to be eligible for awards. Go to event site for more details.)
★ Pick up your t-shirt and any awards at Liquid Roots Brewing Project Sept. 11 – 12
(Shipping may be arranged for any out of town runners or for some special circumstances.)

A portion of every race entry will be used to support local small businesses during these uncertain times through the purchase of gift cards. The gift cards will in turn be awarded to event participants as awards or through a drawing(s).

Runners are encouraged to wear high visibility clothing, watch out for traffic, maintain social distancing and follow all local safety guidelines while traversing the course.
