City of Lenoir facilities closed for Thanksgiving

Lenoir City Hall and city recreational facilities will be closed this Thursday and Friday, Nov. 22 and 23, 2018, to celebrate Thanksgiving.

Sanitation will operate on a normal schedule Thanksgiving Day, however, crews will not pick up trash Friday, Nov. 23. Garbage normally picked up Friday will be picked up Wednesday, Nov. 21. All other household garbage pickups will remain on a normal schedule. The Recycling Center on Pennton Avenue will operate on a normal schedule.

The Lenoir Aquatic and Fitness Center and Mulberry Recreation Center will be open Saturday.
